Description:

Tree 23 m x 40 cm, trunk fluted at base, outer bark beige, thin, smooth, inner bark orange-beige speckled, brittle. Fruits pendent, brown, immature, depressed-globose, to 5 cm diam. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Terra firme forest on hilly terrain, open canopy.
