Description:

arcing sub-lianous shrub through shrubs and trees to 4-5 m tall, 6-8m long. stem finely striate, tan dark outer layer peeling in thin sheets; leaves stiff, brittle, lustrous medium yellow.

bosque húmedo montano bajo. frequent.

Collection Notes: flowers on older wood, without fragance, sepals and pedicels orange,tips of sepals white, corolla tube orange, limb white tipped with spot on purple, anthers ochre, style and stigma purple
