Description:

scandent shrub to 1.5 m x 1.5 cm diam. pedicels, calyces & basal 2/3 of fleshy corolla bright pinkish red, narrower apical 1/3 (including lobes) white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

bosque húmedo premontano and secondary scrub on roadside scree.
