terrestrial, branches arching to 3 m. pedicel, calyx, and basal corolla (swollen) dark rose-red; constric-ted part corolla lighter rose-red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

steep roadside slopes through heavily disturbed premontane forest. abundant.
