Description:

Vegetative. In clumps. Plants 1-2 m tall, 1 cm in diameter. Internodes glaucous when young, then becoming purplish. Branching intravaginal. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

In bog with Aulonemia ulei.
