Description:

terrestrial shrub to 1.5 m tall. rachis green. Pedices, calyx and lower 3/4 corolla salmon-pink; upper 1/4 corolla white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

forest remnants and edge along road. one plant seen along road.
Other:

Collection Notes: Corolla twice-constricted, more or less globose at base. Growing to-gether with Psammisia ferruginea and Psammisia columbiensis, with Psammisia guianensis and Psammisia sclerantha close.
