Brazil. Bahia. Serra do SincorĂ¡. NW. face of Serra de Ouro, to the East of the Barra da Estiva. Sandstone massif, with grassy middle slopes with wet flushes below summit & montane woodland on steep rocky North face. Alt. 1300 - 1500 m. (4265 - 4921 ft.)

Description:

Small tree to 3m. with blackish stems. Leaflets glossy, mid-green, paler beneath. Bud scales (?) green, tinged pink. Flowers cream with scent of Crataegus. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

This plant growing in low woodland at high altitude in shade of rocks.
