Description:

Stems to ca. 1 m. tall solitary of few together. Glumes yellow-green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Growing in still water ca. 40 cm. deep, rooted in muddy bottom. With riverine chiefly herbaceous weedy vegetation.
