Belize. Cayo. Santa Elena Town, ca. 1 km S of western Highway near mile marker 69, on hillside overlooking the Mopan river valley. Newly open housing area known as Santa Cruz.

Description:

Herb. Herb to 1m. Red/orange petals, yellow center with some white. Narrow leaves about 5 cm from stem, opposite leaves green in color, exudes white sticky latex. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

In house plot clearing.
