Description:

Wiry shrub to 30 cm. Leaves rigid, mid-green, paler beneath. Calyx tube yellow-green with reddish veins and with purple-tinged mouth. Corolla magenta. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Closed cerrado and adjoining grassland and marsh. This plant growing in marsh.
