Description:

Small tree, stem 10 inches thick, 30 feet high; leaves chartaceous, folded on the upper slightly greener side, tips recurved; infructescence of 1-3 terminal spikes 3-6 inches long; bearing red fruits. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Wooded bank along the river.
