Description:

root-climbing epiphyte. Root-climbing epiphyte, spadix ovoid, turning orange. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest near newly opened unpaved access road, undulating terrain. Soil sandy in many places. Rare. No Guadua, but strong presence of Bertholletia and Tetragastris altissima s.l.
