Description:

Shrub, 40-60 cm high; fruit exactly resembling a small apple, green with reddish cheek, oblate, inflated, to 3.3 cm high, 4.2 cm in diam. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Ungrazed areas with dense cover of grasses and other herbs, in stony soil. Abundant.
