Colombia. Nariño. La Planada Biological Reserve, ca. 7 km S of Chucunéz, along trail to Pialapi. Alt. 1800 - 1900 m. (5905 - 6234 ft.)

Description:

scandent epiphyte. leaves coriaceous; calyx and pedicel dark orang-red; corolla orange-red at base with bands of maroon then green distally.
Habitat:

disturbed premontane forest and open potreros; in primary forest.
