Description:

Tree ca. 25 m tall, ca. 40 cm dbh. Bark pale gray, smooth. Leaves subcoriaceous, dark green above, white velutinous below, blades up to 120 cm long, up to 55 cm wide. Inflorescence up to 95 cm long. Corollas white. Fruits passing from green to dark purple when fleshy.
Habitat:

Trail from community to the forest. Vegetation highly disturbed, with sparse trees.
