Description:

Terrestrial shrub, branches to 2.5 m long. Inflorescence with rachis, pedicels, and calyx dark red, with whitish scales. Corolla red at base and white in upper half. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

disturbed roadside slopes through montane forest.
