Description:

Tree. Tree to 12 m, flowers white. Dominant in "campina" forest. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

"campina" -- forest on poorly drained white-sand soils, thick litter layer, high density of slender trees and vines, closed canopy ca. 10 m but some areas with occasional emergents to 25 m x 50 cm. Common.
