Description:

Sometimes partially epiphytic; at anthesis, the floral appendages to 5 cm long. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Soil at river margin. This same small specie was seen abundantly at the crossing of the Río Ontza, growing on the bank, and on the rocks in the middle of the stream where they are subject to frequent torrential overflows. Abundant.
