Description:

Herb, to 3 m tall. Lower leaves to 42 cm long. Inflorescence bracts red-orange with yellow-orange vertical line in center of each. Flowers orange. Inflorescence covered with 4 mm long brown ants with light tan abdomen. [Photo].
