Arbusto até 1 m de altura. Cálice vermelho brilhante com ápice verde. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Capoeira/cerrado, brejo com mata ciliar, margem de riacho. Margem do brejo, em solo mais sêco. Solo arenoso.
