Description:

Woody-based herb/shrublet, 60 cm - 2 m. (taller in damp shaded areas). Leaves mid-green, held erect, semi-coriaceous, of sand-texture; corollas scarlet with green lobes; stamen filaments and styles dark red. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
