Description:

Grass in small clearing made by fallen tree. Growing on rotted log. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

In virgin forest, base of serra. Trees to 25 m. tall and to 8 dm. d.b.h. trunks. Ground completely shaded. Soil sandy with some organic matter.
