Description:

Rooted in bottom, water ca 1 m. deep, tops emergent. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Savanna, tall graminoids and shrubs immediately along caño, with silt-sand soil, changing to sparse small clumped plants on hills, "soil" here of white quartz gravel. Rooted in bottom, water ca 1 m. deep, tops emergent.
