Description:

Rather coarse tufted sedge with dark green leaves. Culms to ca. 60 cm., often smaller. Spikelets rather bright greenish-brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Disturbed restinga, riverside pasture and roadsides.
