Description:

Stems to 0.6 m, triquetrous with rounded margins and convex sides. Glumes reddish-brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

With water-worn, horizontally-bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, exposed rock and waterfall. Vegetation: open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas. This plant growing in wet sedge marsh.
