Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Vicinity of abandoned old Jardín Botánico along Rio Piraí and roadsides on W side of Santa Cruz. Alt. 420 m. (1378 ft.)

Description:

Patches of shrubs, erect, few-branched, seems to be a roadside weed. Flowers odorless; corolla violet; anthers yellow; fruit dark green-light green mottled. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Very flat, sandy, subject to occasional flooding, thin forest and roadsides with many Solanaceae. Not in the old Jardin Botanico forest nor within the city.
