Description:

Tree 25 m x 35 cm, inflorescences suberect, inflorescence axes and immature fruits white. Outer bark light brown, densely lenticellate, rough, thin, inner bark orange, thick, hard, brittle. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Primary terra firme forest relatively level terrain shallowly dissected by many streams, soils apparently poorly drained.
