1.5m spreading shrub; Leaves: opposite, ranks of 4, pellucid dots on underside; Flower: yellow. multiple stamens; Fruit: dehiscent capsules with tiny brown seeds.
Habitat:

Pine forest. Chaparrel. Common. Red clay soil.
