Location:

United States of America. Collected from the Greenhouse of Bob and Dee Stewart (Stow, MA). Cutting obtained by Stewart's as "Echolandia" from Ecuador (probably same as "Tinalandia" near Chiriboga, Pichincha Prov.).

Description:

Erect subshrub, 40-50 cm tall. Calyx lobes ovate; lower lobes entirely white and clasping corolla tube; upper lobes greenish-white suffused with pink/red. Corolla campanulate; white on outside; limb blue; lobes shallowly fimbriate to serrate; lower petal.
