Description:

Unbranched terrestrial subshrub, 1-2 m tall. Flowers resupinate; in axillary clusters. Calyx dark purple with light green margins. Corolla tubular and uniformly red.
Habitat:

Disturbed and mature monante/premontane wet forest.
