Location:

Ecuador. Morona Santiago. Tiwintza (Canton). Parroquia: Santiago. Cordillera Winchinkiaim Naint #19. South of Centro Shuar Kusumas. Ridge and border between Ecuador and Peru (border @ 03°05'26.49"S 077°52'06.29"). Alt. 300 - 900 m. (984 - 2953 ft.)

Description:

Scandent epiphyte with dorsiventral shoots. Abaxial leaf surface red; occasionally with green margins. Calyx bright yellow. Corolla bilabiate and bright yellow with red markings at base of lip.

Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
