Description:

Terrestrial herb, 40-70 cm tall. Stem quadrangular and winged. Calyx light green. Fruit a fleshy capsule with red valves. Seeds embedded in fleshy blue funiculi. Corolla tubular and whitish-yellow.
Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
