Description:

Epiphytic vine. Fruits located on non-leaf portion of stem, 40-60 cm below leaves. Calyx persistent in fruit; lobes red. Fruit a fleshy bivalved capsule with red valves; seeds contained within a dark-purple inner-capsular layer.
Habitat:

Premontane/cloud forest.
