Panama. Chiriquí. Gualaca (Distr.). Corregimiento: Hornito. Reserva Forestal Fortuna (Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute). Trail going west from main highway along continental divide (border of the provinces Chiriqui and Bocas del Toro). Alt. 1150 - 1250 m. (3773 - 4101 ft.)

Description:

Scandent epiphytic herb. Abaxial leaf surface red. Calyx lobes pinkish-white. Corolla tubular; white on outside; lobes reflexed; red on inside with white striations in throat.

Habitat:

Premontane/cloud forest.
