Location:

Ecuador. El Oro. Piñas (Canton). Buffer zone/border region of Reserva Biologica Buenaventura; 11 km (air-km) north of the "Entrada la Virgin" on road towards Viron. Alt. 1300 - 1700 m. (4265 - 5577 ft.)

Description:

Epiphyte with dorsiventral shoots. Abaxial leaf surface green with red mottling and red apices. Bracts and calyx lobes light green with red streaks. Corolla bilabiate; white with red margins.

Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
