Ecuador. El Oro. Piñas (Canton). Parroquia: Moromoro. Reserva Biologica Buenaventura. Remnant patch of forest south of "Entrada la Virgin". Alt. 1000 - 900 m. (3281 - 2953 ft.)

Description:

Epiphyte with dorsiventral shoots. Abaxial leaf surface green with dark purple venation; apices red. Bracts and calyx lobes dark purple with yellow margins. Corolla bilabiate; yellow with purple streaks on lateral lobes.

Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
