Description:

Shrub, 1-1.5 m tall. Calyx purple. Corolla tubular; appearing laterally compressed; apex of tube campanulate (i.e., not constricted); ventricose on lower surface. Flowers pendent; resupinate; in axillary clusters below leaves. Fruit a fleshy capsule with.
