Ecuador. Carchi. Tulcán (Canton). Parroquia: Maldonado. Collection made along path from the village of Maldonado towards an area known locally as "Bombiadora." C.a., 4-6 km SW of Maldonado. Alt. 1500 - 2200 m. (4921 - 7218 ft.)

Description:

Epiphyte. Shoots dorsiventral ("fern frond"-lilke). Calyx green. Corolla yellow and tubular.

Habitat:

Evergreen montane/premontane wet forest.
