Description:

Terrestrial herb. Stems erect and woody (note: stems succulent in J.L. Clark #5695). Roots fibrous and rhizomes absent (note: rhizomes present in J.L. Clark #5695). Corolla hypocyrtoid and orange.
Habitat:

Tropical montane wet forest.
