Description:

Shrub, 1-2 m tall. Flowers in axillary clusters. Calyx lobes mostly fused; yellow suffused with red.
Habitat:

Broad-leaved wet forest on exposed limestone referred to locally as "rak bwa" (primarily exposed solution pipes and sinkholes).
