Description:

Unbranched terrestrial subshrub, 1.5-2.0 m tall. Stems quadrangular and winged. Leaves decurrent at base. Fruit a fleshy white berry. Calyx green. Corolla uniformly orange and tubular (not hypocyrtoid).

Habitat:

Bosque Andino.
