United States of America. Cultivated plant grown by Nancy Kast from the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Gesneriad Society. Wild origin unknown, but most likely from western Ecuador.

Description:

Herb with erect shoots, 30-40 cm tall. Calyx birght red. Corolla uniformly white and hypocyrtoid.
