Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache - Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains, 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. Along ridge of La Loma de los Guerrilleros. Alt. 650m. (2133 ft.)

Description:

Terrestrial. Leaves clustered on an erect rhizome, to 30 cm tall. Common on hillside of La Loma de Los Guerrilleros.

Habitat:

Mature forest. Premontane Wet Forest.
