Location:

Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains, 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. Along main road between la "Y" de la Laguna and Station. Alt. 400 - 600 m. (1312 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Tree, 4 m tall. Leaves densely clustered on branches. Peduncles red, flower buds white.
