Ecuador. Esmeraldas. Quinindé (Canton). The Mache-Chindul Ecological Reserve. Bilsa Biological Station. Mache Mountains, 35 km W of Quinindé, 5 km W of Santa Isabel. Forest W of cabin. NE border between main road and Cube river. Alt. 400 - 600 m. (1312 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Terrestrial herb in border cut (3 m wide) through primary forest. Underside of leaves bright blue.
