Description:

epiphytic herb. Epiphyte forming a ring 3m from ground on tree trunk, leaves drooping, indusia turning brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Unlogged forest on terra firme near recently opened unpaved access road. Some patches dominated by Guadua sarcocarpa; Tetragastris and Brosimum common. Rare. Clay soils.
