Description:

Shrub 2 m tall. Inflorescence, hypanthia, and trichomes bright red. Flowers 5-merous. Petals spreading, pink-red. Filaments white, anthers yellow. Style and stigma white and exserted beyond the anthers.
Habitat:

Cloud forest. Frequent.
