Description:

About 3 m, vining over other vegetation on the steep bank above the road. Culm leaf sheathes overlapping the nodes and each other. All culms < 1 cm and sterile. Rhizomes sympodial pachymorph. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

On the sloping bank of the river. Growing with Chusquea sp., Merostachys multiramea, Pennisetum sp., & Setaria poiretiana.
