Description:

Shrubby liana inhabited by small biting ants, leaves semi-succulent, discolorous, inflorescence pendulous, axes and calyx green, calyx with purplish longitudinal lines, corolla bright orange; SILICA COLLECTION.

Habitat:

Tall moist forest on clay soil terra firme, mature forest but with some trees selectively havested, level terrain.
