Description:

terrestrial herb. Terrestrial herb 1.3 meters, inflorescences arising from nodes, flowers greenish-cream, tinged with violet. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Forest on relatively level terrain behind levee, flooded supra-annually. Canopy discontinuous in places, understory with high density of Heliconia and Marantaceae.
